and our vision
We are two PR consultants who realized that there was more to the world than publicity, crisis management, and influence campaigns. After starting and running one of Stockholm's most hyped agency groups, Reform Society, for more than ten years, we stumbled upon Ingmarsö by chance. It was love at first sight.
Located in the archipelago, serving as a gateway to the outer archipelago yet still a lively island with a tavern, bakery, and grocery store year-round.
It was simply easy to live and enjoy life on Ingmarsö. Initially as a summer pleasure, then as a weekend house, and now with Ingmarsö B&B housed in Norrgården.
A new life and a vision to help people laugh, relax, enjoy the beautiful Stockholm archipelago, and get a bit closer to that real life. The life where the neighbor is a farmer with their own dairy, or where warm sun-kissed wild strawberries are available to pick on your way down for a morning dip in the sea.
About Norrgården
Norrgården on Ingmarsö is an old archipelago homestead with two residential houses. Staying at the farm, you live in a fantastic environment in a lively archipelago idyll. Norrgården is one of Ingmarsö's original farms with a long history. The farm was already settled in the 17th century.
The older sibling pair, who were the last private owners, bequeathed the farm to the Österåker municipality, and today it is owned by the Ingmarsö Norrgården and School Foundation. Ingmarsö B&B took over the operation of the accommodation in the fall of 2023 and has refurbished the houses both inside and out.
The lands are leased by Freerk and Janneke Boersma. On their lands, cows and horses graze, grain and fodder are grown, and in their farm shop in the old barn, they sell their locally produced sour milk, yogurt, and cheese.
When you stay at Norrgården, you become part of both the old farm and a modern archipelago agriculture.
